Creating employment and local business opportunities

The Bullawah Wind Farm will invest in the Riverina, providing funding, job creation, and long-term benefits to local communities.

Supplier and employment opportunities

BayWa r.e. is committed to creating jobs for local people and engaging with local businesses and suppliers. This project will be delivered with a broad range of skills and businesses.

Construction contractors will lead project delivery. In the lead-up to construction, BayWa r.e. will work closely with lead contractors to ensure that local businesses, including First Nations businesses, are given the opportunity to be involved.

The Bullawah Wind Farm is expected to generate up to 400 jobs during construction- both on the site and in the wider community. Once operational, the project will need around 10 local workers and will lead to other flow-on jobs and economic benefits in the region.

If you are a local business in the Riverina or surrounds, we would like to hear from you. Be it earthworks, fencing, professional services, infrastructure, building contractors, machinery operators, or accommodation, medical, catering, road transport or cleaners – all these skills will be needed during construction.
