We have extensive experience in entering long-term renewable energy offtake contracts with retailers and corporates, both in Australia and internationally. The local team is supported by our dedicated Commercial and Industrial consumer team in Germany, who focus solely on offtake solutions.

Additionally, BayWa r.e. also has comprehensive experience in dealing with corporates and closing corporate offtake agreements. Locally, we have entered offtake agreements with Flow Power, Carlton & United Breweries, CS Energy and Alinta Energy.

PPA Partner - Brewing Giant AB InBev

The 10-year PPA inked in 2020 was then the largest Pan-European corporate solar power deal in history, covering AB InBev’s 14 breweries in Western Europe and more than 50 brands, including global brand Budweiser.

CS Energy signed a new eight-year PPA with BayWa r.e. in October 2022 for a portion of the electricity and Large Generation Certificates from its 20 megawatts Hughenden Solar Farm. The agreement marks the extension of CS Energy's first offtake with the solar farm. CS Energy provides retail electricity to large commercial and industrial customers including Queensland Government agencies and departments and other large organisations such as mines and ports.
