As the Head of Development at BayWa re in Australia, Jang is at the forefront of our renewable energy project pipeline. Jang oversees the end-to-end development of megawatt scale solar, wind, and battery projects. He is skilled at securing partnerships, and navigating regulatory landscapes. Jang is a proven leader in spearheading impactful renewable initiatives, committed to advancing Australia's renewable energy transition and leads BayWa's development team through innovative, large-scale project development.

Khalid has almost a decade of experience in the Australia's energy sector. He leads BayWa's grid connection activities and draws on his experience in consultancy, OEMs and AEMO. As a skilled Power Systems Engineer, he is proficient in PSSE and PSCAD, and is driven to finding innovative engineering solutions. Khalid thrives on sticky challenges and leads all our grid connection, SCADA, and related project acvtivities.

Richard is a seasoned engineering professional and team leader with over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy industry and 20+ years working as a professional engineer in Australia, Asia, UK and USA. He has a demonstrated track record in renewable energy, supporting successful development, financing, construction and operation of solar and wind projects. Richard leads BayWa's Enginering team supporting BayWa's contribution to Australia's energy transition.

 Alex is an accomplished corporate finance manager at BayWa. He has a key focus on funding projects, divestment of projects and PPA procurement. As part of this work he is involved through the project life cycle of wind, solar and BESS projects from early stage valuations through to financing and sale of operational projects. Alex is proficient in structuring investments, optimising funding, and steering innovation in renewable enegry projects in Australia and the APAC region. He has over a decade of experience and a proven track record in aligning financial strategies with sustainability  objectives.

Katherine brings more than a decade of expereince as a financial controller to her role with BayWa re. She leads BayWa's finance team and steers fiscal strategies, budgeting, forecasting, liquidity, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Katherine is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants  and is skilled at optimising financial operations, risk management, and driving growth initiatives. With a proven track record in ensursing financial health of diverse organisations, Katherine drives BayWa's continued reliability through astute financial management.

Medellin is an accomplished Tax Manager with 18 years' expertise in direct and indirect tax compliance and advisory for billion-dollar multinationals, ASX-listed organisations, and the Big 4. She has demonstrated expertise in standalone tax management and team leadership. Medellin leads BayWa's tax affairs and uses her strong communication, relationship-building skills, and proactive, adaptable approach to achieve strong outcomes for the business.

Leading BayWa's People and Culture team in Australia, Lucy drives employee engagement, talent management and fosters our vibrant culture.  Spearheading HR strategies aligned with the company's renewable energy mission, Lucy helps nurture a dynamic, diverse and inclusive workplace. Lucy is an experienced HR lawyer and brings a strong compliance framework to her work. She is committed to nurturing a talented team passionate about sustainability and innovation.

Alex is an accomplished senior counsel in the renewable energy sector, offering expertise in legal strategies, regulatory compliance, and project development. A track record of steering complex initiatives, negotiating deals, and ensuring legal compliance in the dynamic Australian energy market. Alex supports BayWa r.e to advance sustainable solutions while navigating legal complexities for the organisation and its stakeholders.

Abdullah is an experienced IT professional specialising in digital transformation, cyber security, and leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Cloud, AI, and other emerging trends. He is skilled in devising robust strategies to optimise operations, enhance security postures, and drive innovation. Proven track record in implementing transformative solutions for business relaibility and growth in the renewable energy sector.
